Bill and I just got back from a delicious dinner at a
restaurant recommended by an Italian friend of his. He said that he would recommend anything that
included truffles.
We had an artichoke appetizer. Bill had an omelette with truffles and I had
linguine with truffle sauce. Realy,
really good. Then I had tiramisu for
dessert. Need I say how good that was ?
I think I may be inspired to try more adventurous cooking at
home.
(Oh, and if you are curious, this delicious meal cost LESS
then most every meal we had in Venice).
Tomorrow we will try to get into the Uffizi Museum.
