We had the Mistral wind again today but it was quite light
so we had a pleasant (but slow) sail back to Dubrovnik. One highlight – we saw a dolphin at one point
off the port side. It didn’t stay with
us for long but it was quite close.
There is a surprising amount to do when you return a
boat. We have been busy clearing out all
of our stuff, cleaning and organizing their stuff and generally getting ready
to leave tomorrow. We will spend one
more night on the boat and fly to Venice tomorrow. Unfortunately our plane isn’t til 6 p.m. but that’s just the way we had to work
it.
(Bill says I have graduated from ‘ballast’ to ‘better than
the auto-pilot’. It’s good to make
progress J
Just to point out the exaggeration --- I NEVER referred to Paulina as ballast! --bill
